We installed in our daughters' room. This fan looks great in a girls' room and my daughters love it! It is stable, quiet, and generating enough wind flow while they are sleeping. At the lowest speed, I cannot hear anything. The noise level is also low with faster speed. Most of the noise is caused by the wind flow but not the motor itself.

Not very safe

This was for my grand daughter. The light fixture is not built very sturdy. There were several options of mounting; we had to choose the ceiling mount option. There is no safety features--except the steel wire that will keep it from falling to the floor -- if it were to come loose from the very flimly part that secures the fan to the ceiling. My son is very concerned about the safety. However, he did allow us to hang it up in her room. It's cute. But I wish it were built more safely. Also, the old ceiling fan had three lights. This one only has one. So just 1/3 the light in the room now.
