minka fan

These Minka fans are a high quality product. Relatively easy to install although having a helper is advised especially when hanging the motor unit into the ceiling mount. One of the three units I bought for bedrooms was absent the blades when I opened the box which was a obvious error with the manufacturer. The supplier responded to a customer service phone contact with an apology and immediate shipment of a set of blades. 5 bladed fans push considerably more air than the 4 bladed fans I replaced. I don't envision ever having to run these on the "high" speed.

Loft look ceiling fan

Love the look of this fan. Used in a residential setting; very fortunate to have very high ceilings. Believe this fan could remove some fingers if someone was silly enough to put them in front of moving blades. The fan comes with an electrical control switch, about the size of a Volkswagen. Definitley get something else. The fan is fairly inefficent as far as moving a lot of air; not too important to me. Lacks lighting; also not important to me. Easy to assemble and install. The fit of the ceiling cover cone is a bit flimsy.

We bought this fan for our living room -- it is not noisy, and we have had no problems with wobbling. We like the contemporary look, though it certainly does not look terribly expensive -- but it's hard to beat for the price. No problems with it and we're happy with the purchase.

Very loud after only a year

This product seemed to get favorable reviews and I really liked the look of it, so I purchased it. At first I was incredibly happy with it, but after not even a year it had become incredibly loud, to the point where if it's not on the lowest setting, I can't sleep.I probably wouldn't buy it again.
