Top of the line.

In the past we always purchased Hunter fans. A local market had Harbor Breeze fans on a special. After trying two of them , the motors were noisy on both of them, I returned them and gave up on that brand. We purchased the Hunter fan and haven't had a problem with it. I will purchase Hunter fans in the future.

This is an awesome fan. It has plenty of power even for the large room that this went into. Price was unbelievable compared to what it would cost for something like this at Lowes or Home Depot. Seller was prompt with shipping and everything went as well as one could imagine. Beautiful, well made fan. Many steps ahead the run of the mill fans you see most of the time.

Very solid fan

This fan was not terribly difficult to assemble, if you've put up ceiling fans before. The instructions are not that great, but it was fairly apparent what had to be done.The fan itself is very solid. Note that it takes a 1/2" downrod. It moves a lot of air, and has no wobble at all that I can see. The fan weighs about twice what a normal ceiling fan weighs, which probably helps keep down the wobble.For the price, I'm amazed that this product is as nice as it is. I just installed four ceiling fans in my home, three of which were purchased at home depot. This is the nicest fan of the four, and it was the cheapest. I like the looks. Its a big fan, so really meant for a common room, not a bedroom.

Almost 5 Stars, but . . .

Beautiful fan, pushes air well, good safety features, will accommodate really high ceilings/and long down rod, quiet. Now for the frustrating things: If you've got patience and you're installing as diy, get a helper. If you've got large hands, get a helper with small hands. Screws are awkward to insert because of cramped spaces. Changing a future light bulb will become a 30 minute endeavor. Not easy. I figure the Chinese have smaller hands and assembly for them is a lot easier. Also, if you're good at figuring things out, it'll help because the English translation is confusing. There will be lots of hardware left over and you'll begin to wonder if you've assembled it correctly. They don't explain all the parts very well and what they're used for in your given situation. If you get a handyman to install, make sure he/she has small hands. Other than that, we love the fan.

We love the fan. We purchased it for our master bedroom. It wasn't too difficult to install. We had a small issue with the globe not being stained uniformly. The offending area is very small, but I thought I would contact the company any way and see if they would replace it. When I spoke to someone at Litex they said that they would replace the globe, free of charge. However, when they sent the replacement globe it was not the same size as the one I had. It was smaller, in fact too small for the 52 inch fan. So I have just decided to keep the original globe and forget about th small defect.

Needed a replacement fan that had a lamp. It arrived well packed in an outer carton.Fan assembly took about an 1.5 hours. Lots of small parts! Good price and good quality. At high speed it is noisier than expected.

Hunter Fan

It looks nice and is a Hunter fan. It is quite quiet, and has good airflow on high speed. The lowest speed isn't as powerful as I was expecting, but it does generate a gentle, almost imperceptible breeze. It's a Hunter, so I expect that it will last for many years, but since I've only had it for a few weeks I can't comment on its long term reliability at this point. I wasn't particluarly impressed with its flush mounting capability-it's just a flimsy piece of white plastic that doesn't fit particularly well. I've had other Hunter fans with better flush mounting that looked much more professional.

Great fan at a great price

As with every other Hunter fan I have owned, this fan is quiet and beautiful. I also ordered the 3 speed wall mounted switch which looks good and works well. The price point on this fan is incredible for such a quality product.
