Give your ceiling fan a new look with these palm leaf-shaped ceiling fan blade covers, which also increase air flow. No need to spend hundreds of dollars for a new ceiling fan - just slide these decorative palm "fronds" over the blades of your existing ceiling-fan to instantly create an updated style. Unlike traditional arrow blades, these fan blades are flat and wide so they force air outward. You'll notice better air distribution throughout the room without a strong downward flow. Installation is easy: just slip a cover over each blade and tighten. Palms come as a set of 5; will fit blades up to 6" wide. Crafted of ABS Resin (a fiberglass, plastic, and resin hybrid). Available in your choice of Ivory (#10901), Sand (#10902) or Burl (#10903) Each ceiling-fan blade cover measures 15" W x 23" L. You Need a Big Fan Engine!!!

I put these up on my living room fan and then 10 minutes later took them off. They were too heavy for my fan to turn fast enough to create any breeze so that my previously very adequate ceiling fan was now not blowing ANY air. Se' la Vive.Make sure your fan can take the load. They advertize these blades as being light in weight and they are. But, my fan could not handle the power required to whirl them. For me it made my great ceiling fan a non blowing fan. I only purchased the blades for decorative purposes so...didn't work for me.Deliver was great. No problem with quality. Fan blades now reside in the closet.Update April 2012: Actually, they got taken out of the closet and are now hanging on my bedroom walls for decorative purposes. The look really nice - like big clam shells - a rather nice touch in the decoration department so ... I'm getting my money's worth out of them (lol).

Not bad

They LOOK great....I am sure somewhere in the description it said plastic...but I guess I missed it...They do slow down the fan a bit...butthey look so good I am willing to give up some of the speed...(mainly because I also have a/c in the same room)Easy to install...but only goes up to the hardware on the existing blade, but since my fan is white and the cover is white it does not matter. However if I had ordered the bamboo color, it would not look good. Maybe it can cover the blade hardware, but since it does not seem to have a lot of flexability I did not want to force it.I think they are expensive for what they are....so even tho this may sound like a negative review, I really do like the look...just be aware of these issues.cheryl

Bad quality item, does not work---Awful return policy!

This is really bad quality plastic that looks awful. And it does not work. My fan would not work on e I put these up. The return process was very unpleasant. Nowhere was it indicated that you would not be tefunded shipping. Even though I had received it via Smaxon free shipping, upon return they deducted $15 for shipping it to me. Where did that cone from?!?!? Snd I was adked to pay my shipping it back to them. That was another $16. So I zm out $30 for tKing a look at a product that is a piece of junk. Beware!
